Amgen and HBCU 20x20 are proud to present this paid, virtual twelve-week professional development fellowship program that will prepare, empower and connect 20 HBCU juniors, seniors and recent graduates for careers in the biotech industry at Amgen.
The Amgen HBCU Biotech Fellowship will take place virtually over the course of 12-weeks from June 4 - August 20, 2025.
Fellows will have the opportunity to participate in workshops led by Amgen leaders to increase their understanding of the organization, the biotech industry and potential career pathway. In addition, fellows will work in teams to present a solution to a business problem, leveraging analytical, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

Here's what we are looking for:
- Juniors, seniors and recent graduates with at least a 3.2 GPA currently or previously enrolled at an HBCU (Historically Black College and University).
- Degree concentration(s) in Engineering, Life Science, Chemistry / Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Applied Mathematics or Data Science, Finance or Supply Chain
- Proven leadership skills, demonstrated through extracurricular or work experience activities (e.g., projects, clubs, organizations, sports)
- Students who work well in group-environments.
- Interest in Amgen opportunities and the Biotech Industry.
- Availability to fully participate in the twelve-week virtual program from Jun. 4th - Aug. 20th from 5-6:30pm EST.
